The Trex RainEscape® Downspout is an essential component of the Trex RainEscape Under-Deck Drainage System. Installed at the ends of troughs, it channels water from between deck joists down and away from your deck substructure. This ensures a dry, usable area beneath your deck, helping prevent water damage, mold, and mildew in the protected space below.

Installation Tips:

• Cut a 1-1/2" opening in the trough for downspout insertion

• Ensure a slight slope in troughs to direct water into the downspout

• Secure with RainEscape Butyl Tape and staples to ensure watertight performance

• Space downspouts every 12" to 16" for optimal drainage
